On April 8, 2019 I ordered black on black on ASICS and the picture showed a black shoe with black soles. I also paid for expedite for expedited delivery. On May 6 I Received a pair of Black/Glacier Gray with white soles. These are good looking shoes and I will wear them, but really needed the black on black with black soles. I gave them 3 stars, because they fit & are good looking. But not what I wanted & orderedIt’s a wonderful sneakerVery good productGreat arch support. Good walking shoe. Holds up very well for moderate use.I bought these to replace my worn out Asics Gel-Kayano 23 running shoes.These are very comfortable, possible even more so than my old pair.They feel very supportive, and as an over pronating runner that is ideal.I have now worn these for over 25 miles and could not be happier.The build quality seems excellent.I would happily recommend these.I've had these a month now and have run a dozen 10K in them. At first they felt a little like running on marshmallow and I started to heel strike (although perhaps I already was judging by the wear of my old shoes) and bounce along on them. However I soon found it more comfortable to land on the mid-foot with what feels like a natural transition onto the balls of my feet and toes. They are stable, wearing mostly in the centre under the ball of my feet with little and even wear across the heels. The size is spot-on lengthwise but I find them a little narrow for my wide feet across the laces. I have to be careful not to over-tighten them but maybe this is my fault rather than the shoe. The thick padding around the heel can make them feel a little short at first, but they are not. They are plenty wide enough in the toe box. Overall they are supremely stable and comfortable. I've had no discomfort from my feet after a couple of longer runs when the rest of me has given up. I'll replace them with another pair when they wear out.I ordered the UK 9.5 and the 10 ( I’m usually a ten but have found ASICS a little on the large side before) the 10 fit perfect. I have Plantar Fasciitis and these are very comfortable especially if you use a Physix Gear Orthotic insole.The Asics Gel-Kayano 25 running shoe is a well made and comfortable trainer which provides a good cushioned landing with each step. They are more expensive than some running shoes but as the saying goes " you get what you pay for ". I have had this type of running shoe previously so I knew what I was getting and I am not disappointed. A good experience from seller with no difficulties.The area on a running shoe that takes the most stress is the top hole for the laces. In most good running shoes this is specially reinforced. But with these Asics shoes there is no reinforcement and the top hole for the laces ripped out making the shoes unusable. I expected better design from shoes costing about £115.Not worth buying.
