Great cleats! I wanted to buy the Nike Tiempo Legacy II Leather cleats because I tried them on at a store and they were amazing feeling-calf leather that fit like a glove, but $120! So I researched the line of Tiempos that Nike has and the Genio II leathers were half the price at $65 and appeared online to be comparable to the higher quality and priced cleats in most respects--the Genios are made from not calf, but cow leather. I usually only spend about $30ish on cleats, but I wanted something a little more quality. I took the plunge and bought the Genios and upon putting them on the first time, was very pleased with the similar fit and feel to the Legacy II's. Played my first game in them on Sunday on a slightly damp short-grass field and they played amazing. They did not absorb any water. The laces are high quality and stayed nice and snug. When I returned home, I got a damp cloth and wiped down all the grass and dirt/mud and then got a second dry cloth and wiped them somewhat dry. I let them air dry, and they are looking really good right now. Great shoe. I hope they continue to hold up and perform at this level for a while. I'll keep caring for them so they do.
