After no less than 3 purchase/returns, the ASICS Novablast is the cream that has risen to the ?! Lol I even had a 4th and 5th option waiting in my cart but I think imma give those poor Amazon Returns workers a break :) because pretty sure they’re plenty busy this year. Ok full disclosure is I’m on a high as I type this ... just took these out on their maiden voyage, a road walk-run, about 2.5miles. All I can say is these are The Ones for me. I have falling arches and nerve damage thru both of my feet/toes (TY chemo ?) and these make me feel like I can GOOOOO!!!? There’s comfy cushioning thru my stride and even some fancy “energy return” in my steps, and I’m not one that buys into marketing buzzword-hype. My left foot likes to roll outward and that left shoe is working! ?FYI these beat out some similar-priced competition: Brooks Ghost & Adrenaline, and ASICS Nimbus. Was also set to try a NB Foam model and ASICS Cumulus but I’m calling off the search and saying these are The Winner ? (It’s my birthday and I’ll buy if I want to ? )I was ready to get some shoes with color this time cuz colors are fun, but I’m vibing with the galactic speckles on the bottom sidewalls with basic black top. Bonus: it matches all my workout wear ? Got a 10.5, half size larger than street shoes, and they’re perfect. (I’d advise the 1/2 size bump-up to most folks with running shoes in general.) Lastly, about the construction, it’s like all these newer shoes with the lame knit material that conforms but may not necessarily be the most durable. But think about it, no shoe company wants you to stop buying shoes, sooo they can’t make them last too long ?. It’s some weird ideal I have that they should want our money because we love their product rather than just for their bottom line ... But I’m going down a rabbit hole now ? These are Still Winners ?Hope this non-technical review helps someone. If you’ve read my rant this far: TY. All to say if you’re on the same weary journey for good shoes, just give‘em a try and Free Return-It if you’re a Primer.Cuz Happy Feet make for more active days ???✌️
