Much like many other reviews, the Nimbus runs a half size smaller. I normally go with 9.5, but I had to go with 10-Wide on the Nimbus. I have both GT 2000 and Nimbus 24 shoes. The Nimbus is more comfortable and softer on your soles with better cushion. However, for those runners that like to feel closer to the ground, the GT 2000 is a better fit for you. As a general rule, when you take more comfort, you give up on durability. I'll see how the Nimbus works out, but I have sensitive feet and prefer comfort over durability. If you also enjoy comfort, the Cumulus is really good too and much cheaper. My run is neutral/slightly under pronate. This shoe or the Cumulus suits me better than the Kayano. For those with high arches, the Kayano is worth consideration, but I'm good with Nimbus.I kind of like the Gel Nimbus 23's a little better. I have a few 23's and this was my first 24. The tongue on the 24's are thin super thin and I feel more pressure across the top of my feet from the laces compared to the 23's with have some padding in the tongue of the shoe. Both are equally comfortable to walk in. My 2 centsI have ASICS Men's Gel-Nimbus 20 Running Shoesfor almost five years. It was light and comfortable. But the Gel-Nimbus 24 Running Shoes is even lighter and more comfortable with the form. I can walk and stand longer with the very soft cushions. So I ordered a pairs for each of my son, daughter and my wife.I've been a runner and athlete for 40 years, and workout 4-5 days a week. This is the lightest, most comfortable and durable workout/running shoe I've ever owned. Looks great too!Shoe is 4E wide but initially feels too tight. Shoe loosens up nicely quickly to a great fit. The flight foam blast+ is one of the softest shoes I have ever worn. It is amazing to walk in or stand in. There are shoes that may be squishier out there but I find those like the Nike incredible run are so soft and unstable that my back starts to hurt immediately. These are the softest shoes that won’t cause back pain out there. ASICS provides some stability to it to not interfere in comfort so these new Nimbus 24 are the best I have tried from any brand. Due to how comfortable they are, I can recommend all day comfort for walking but not necessarily for standing due to these being built for walking and running comfort. I can recommend the Kayano 29 for all day walking and standing comfort though if interested. ASICS hit a home run with this shoe for sure!These are hands down the most comfortable ASICS I’ve ever owned. I’ve worn ASICS over the past 12 years. Always buy 1/2 size larger. Enjoy!Never thought I will do the switch from the Triumph series, but did it eventually for Saucony dragging their fits releasing the new Triumph 20.I run around 25km a week, road and gravel. The shoe is perfect for these needs.. really great balance between weight, responsiveness, strong hold of the foot, and cushion.Great work by ASICS.Nothing disliked. Very comfortable, light and can be equally used for walks and runs.Shoes are very comfortable and fit as expected. The one problem that I have seen across 6 pairs is that they all eventually develop holes over the big toe area. Recent versions are more reinfoced here but the problem still occurs. Just takes longer.The cushioning is why I stick with this brand, particularly the Nimbus. I tried many brands before I came back to the Asics Nimbus.
