This shoe is comfortable, light, fits exactly as I expected in my size and I'd buy another pair in an instant. My only disappointment is one I have with most sneakers: the backs are so flexible it's more difficult than I prefer to put the shoes on. I understand the comfortable and supportive fit requires a flexible back, but I've worn other sneakers that are easier to put on and still comfortable and supportive. Other than that highly recommended!Based on its price and good looks the "ASICS Men's Gel-Excite 9 Running Shoe" is a good value. It is a shoe for casual use and not a running shoe or appropriate for long walks (5 miles) on a regular basis. Light weight.My running days are over so I seek out the least expensive, stylish and comfortable shoes I can find. I wear these shoes for the gym and walking primarily, I’m sure they would do fine for the average recreational runner as well.
