I've been running with this shoe for about 2months now. I have been using them during wet or muddy weather to run around 5k every day. I'd say the biggest negative is these puppies take forever to break in around the collar of the shoe. There seems to be extra firm padding in the collar area and it was hard enough to give me a bruise from wearing it 5 days straight. I took a break from them for a couple of days to give the area right below my ankle a break. I still think that area needs some work, but I either broke them in enough or my foot has become accustomed to the shoe.These shoes might be intended for someone who is looking for extra padding. They feel a little heavier than my Brooks Launch. But they are very comfortable and the extra weight hasn't slowed me down. It's weird, but for some reason my pace is 20-25 seconds faster when wearing these as opposed to my Brooks.I hate to say how the sizes run, because I don't think the size of a shoe matters as much as the size of your feet changing. But I ordered what i thought was a half size too small and I've got enough room to go at least a half size even smaller and still have these fit properly.I would definitely buy these again and plan on doing so soon. If you're just getting into running, I would highly recommend a shoe like this. There's no need to drop $100+ on a shoe that won't do anymore for you than this shoe would.
