I love this model, it's not the first pair I've purchased and I'll buy them again...I'm a college student who have to walk far distances for my classes. I was first introduced to the new cumulus 19 a few year ago. I think 2 1/2. I was waiting on these pairs to come out for a while and they stopped selling the 19s as well. So I used brocks to work in but they are heavier. I seen that these shoes were available bout them got them in this past Monday. Been to work in them since then. Still feel the same. I have a small arch in my feet and I tend to (I forgot the correct word) I think overpronate my feet roll on the other edge of my foot the most. If you haven't been to a running shoe specialist please do. They will record your natural walking on a treadmill and look at your shoes to help also determine type of feet you have and what shoe will be best. I found out my running shoe size is 11.5 4e I could instantly feel the difference when I ran in the shoes they let me try on. I usually buy a size 11 cause I normally buy a half size bigger in shoe. Sorry for getting off topic but I love These shoes. These are great for that. Asics are great for running and jogging in as well. That's what I normally used them for. But I gave working in these a try. So fsr so good. I stand a d move around 8+ hours a day at work at I do it comfortably in these shoes. I will replace my shoes every 6 months as usual. It's worth it for the price. I never had a seller really ask me nicely to review and give my opinion(if they did maybe I just missed it) but I was contacted to give my review and this is one of them. I wish they would contsct me personally when the 21s come out or if they come out. Lol most definitely going to check out this sellers inventory of products again soon.As a non-runner I needed shoes to make walking more comfortable with a morton's neuroma in my left foot. All shoes I used left my left foot numb after a mile or two. After researching good shoes for neuroma and having good experience with Asics, I ordered the Cumulus and they have exceeded expectations. I now can walk all day with no pain or numbness in my left foot. The shoes disperses weight off the area of the neuroma so well that I have to go out of my way to put pressure on the area even to be reminded that the neuroma is there. I haven't run in years and don't plan to but I feel like I could run in these if I decided to abandon cycling and start running again. I really thought I'd never say that. I like them so much that I plan to buy a second pair to keep at my girlfriend's house for when we take unplanned walks from her place. They also look nice for running shoes and are light and insanely breathable, a huge plus because my feet get hot easily. I'm 100% happy with these shoes and would recommend them to anyone with morton's neuroma.Shoe has a great feel first two times running in it my foot was a little uncomfortable in the arch probalby cause i'd been running in fairly old shoes and wasnt use to the arch support.I have a slightly wider foot in a 10. So i decide to go with the wide size they offer. This was amazing fit for me. dunno if anyone else has toe/foot squeeze issue but this fit great for me. Foot has a nice fit, but relaxed feel instead just a bit too tight.Anyway shoes really nice looking. Good white to color contrast. I like it overall. i use it mostly at the gym so it doesn't see a lot of outdoors. When i do the initial tread after a year so far has been really grippy i'm sure mostly due to lack of heavy/course ground wear from mostly being an inside use, but still really like shoe. hopefully u do too :)These shoes are very lightweight and have excellent support, although slightly snug in the width. Still, they feel comfortable and have a smooth stride. The heel support is very firm which helps create a secure transition of impact into push-off. With this in mind, putting these shoes on can be challenging... these are not your casual “slip-on” sneakers. The rigid heel support makes it necessary to loosen the laces much more than other shoes so you can pull up the tongue to create a larger opening before for inserting your foot. I even found it necessary to also use a shoe horn, but once they are on they feel good throughout the entire day. After wearing these for one day of break-in, I went for a 5 mile power walk covering some very steep hills and they performed great with no soreness afterwards.I have had these shoes for about 10 months. I use them as my standard trainers. They are solid, but heavy shoes compared to my minimalist Saucony Kinvaras. I used this brand back in the day when I would put 25-35 miles per week on them, but now, I only put about 10 miles per week on my standard trainers. The sole is worn significantly considering the low mileage. I will likely need to replace them soon. I still consider them good shoes, but given the cost and heft, I would have hoped they would hold up better. These are horrible sneakers for the price. I have a couple pairs of ASICS. Ones that only cost me $50. I was recommended these for heel support but all I’ve gotten is blisters. They are hard rough shoe that seems to never break in. For $130 I figured they would be better for my feet. I have yet to find an expensive shoe that lives up to the price. Better off going with the Ross $29.99 specialsI like the fit, styling, comfort of this shoe. I don't do much running and mostly use it for walking and daily wear.Be ware that I had to order 1 full size larger. I'm not sure why this model runs so small, even compared to other Asics shoes which typically run 1/2 size small. This is actually my first Asics running shoes. I am a fairly heavy (98kg), slow (about 6:30min/km), low arch and neutral pronator medium distances runner (10 to 21 km). I My first impression for the Cumulus 20 are very positive. It's very snug, but thankfully not too snug, and stable. It let me land with confidence without any trebling inward or outward. Cushioning is ample although not pillow like. Midsole gives in and bounce back. Although I am heavy, midsole doesn't collapse and I don't feel like hitting the pavement. I really like how the cushioning works on Cumulus 20. Aesthetics are highly subjective and I don't really care about, but I find it a nice pair of shoes; not too fancy not bland.Sorry to repeat what other have said. I've been wearing 11.5 for both tennis and running shoes from ASICS. I've sent these back for two reasons: firstly the size is at LEAST half a size too small but, secondly, these not cheap shoes appear cheaply-made. I found the shoes almost impossible to get on, mainly because the heel is incredibly stiff and inflexible. I am wondering if ASICS has decided to merge UK and USA sizing; I cannot think of any other explanation why suddenly, loads of us are experiencing the same problem with sizing. I've lost faith in ordering online so I shall do what I used to do, ie, go to a shop!!I'd been having aching knee issues when out running with less cushioned gel pulse 9 shoes, so decided to upgrade to the Cumulus for more forgiving cushioning. From that aspect they are superb, feels so bouncy without compromising stability (even with the midsole plastic support thingy now removed in this version). My times immediately improved too (by 10-15 seconds per km), I really felt propelled along with that bouncy Flyte Foam, rather than the hard feeling I got with the GP9s. The upper is very plush too, a fancy looking material that seems to me to ventilate well and stop the worst of the cold air getting through. Another obvious upgrade from the GP9. Plenty of room at the toe area. Now for my only grumble; the heel area - it's really tight. I have quite a slim foot, particularly at the heel, so I wasn't expecting this issue. I know you want good support back there but had it been tighter by even a few more mm and I would have sent them back. Hence why the dropped star. But overall if you want a good quality running shoe with very decent cushioning I would definitely consider these.I read the reviews that said buy 1/2 a size larger than needed before I bought. This is true and make sure you do.I am a UK size 9 but bought size 9.5 and it is a perfect fit.The shoes are exceptionally comfy and also very reactive. This means they are soft but bounce back fairly quickly for a faster run.The firmer the shoe, the better for running technically. This one is fairly soft but not too soft. The only thing to note is they take a while to break in and that before they do they feel quite firm and hard.Afterwards, they are perfect for the non pro runner. If you are a pro runner, you probably want 1 of the firmest Asics.Asics are one of my favourite running shoe brands. I do change from time to time so this is my first pair in a while. I like a robust shoe which is comfortable but not too soft. These are responsive and ideal for the neutral footed runner. They are an ideal shoe for those longer runs and plenty of grip for road and short trail sections. You're always best to get fitted in the first instance but if you know your size and style then these are a good price.
