Best brand out there. May not be the cheapest, but they are worth it. They last a long time. My Size ALWAYS fits perfectly. With enough searching you can find some lower cost deals. Why do I like this shoe so much? This shoe has enabled me to walk further and at a faster pace without getting sore feet as had happened with a couple of other major brands. I have some hilly sidewalks in my neighborhood and I usually walk fast, about 3 miles a day. The padding is thick enough to adequately cushion while not so thick that it interferes with feeling enough of the surface you are walking on. I credit the Nimbus with helping me stick to a 3 year regimen because my feet don't hurt anymore when I exercise. I wear a 9 1/2W dress shoe but need a size 10W in this shoe. Asics makes this shoe in an extra-wide (EEEE) in some styles, however the EE wide fits my wide forefoot and moderately high instep without being too wide on my more regular sized heel. My wife takes a 7 1/2N in other brands but needs an 8N in the Nimbus. We both started with the model 16 and own several of their other models through the 22. I preferred a thinner sole shoe when I was younger and thinner but these are more compatible with our 60's lifestyle now. My wife is thin and petite and I'm slightly overweight yet the Nimbus works great for both of us. These shoes aren't cheap but they last a long time and feel so good on my feet. I hope that they maintain high quality material standards and consistent sizing so that my wife and I can continue to enjoy them and have confidence in the Gel-Nimbus when it's time to replace. Asics, please don't mess with the toe-box. We both agree, the 16s and 22s were the best of the models we have owned. Just our personal opinion. Others were really good, but those were remarkable. Kudos! Continual process and product improvement enables loyal customers so please don't ever take the cheap route as some companies have. If you like Brooks or Solomon shoes but put on a few pounds, give your feet a break and try these out to get back in the game.I have been running in ASICS Nimbus for 20+ years. They fit my foot style and provide good cushion and support. I run 20 miles a week and am 5’10”/150lbs. I will order these again.I walk and run a lot. I am told that I am a neutral runner with wide size 6.5 ish feet. These shoes fit me perfectly, and I am so excited that I no longer have chronic pains from these running shoes like I have with other running shoes.GoodFirst, it's important to know that I am a big runner. Though I have run for more than 10 years, my size is still pretty large. Also, I came at this from a stress fracture about three or four years ago.I've been wearing a competitors shoe for the last two years. After my stress fracture, I believed that I needed a motion control shoe. They only one that existed in a decent price range was the one I chose. I am a neutral to over supinator runner. After two years of the other shoe, my pace and stamina for runs was way off. The other shoe was heavy, clunky, and had little give. I decided to go back to my gel-Nimbus this year to see if I could tolerate less support. The difference was amazing. Better comfort. Lighter weight; yet, a sold feel. Unless something happens, I'm not changing again. For starters my running experience is limited to 5-6 days of H.I.I.T. classes, where I average 2 miles/day on a treadmill at various intermittent paces 5/6/8 mph speed levels, designed to obtain 90-100% heart rate zones. Due to experiencing early signs of shin splints, I opted to search out Industry Reviews on several Street Running Shoe Brands and Models, and ultimately chose and purchased the Gel-Nimbus 22 for my purpose. This shoe lives up to the high reviews I had read. Performance wise the fit perfectly to my U.S. Shoe size and standard width. Secondly, the gel technology Absorption in my mid-sole and heels has eliminated my previous issue with shin splint symptoms. The upper sole bounce effect makes running at various speeds and incline levels seemingly less effortless and smooth. I'm extremely happy and satisfied with the Brand and Model and the value I paid.I understand why these running sneakers have good reviews. It does do it's job and it feels pretty neutral for me. I transitioned to this sneaker from the zoomflys, and feel like this has better bounce. I personally preferred sneakers like the zoomflys because they seem to be more proactive and engaging for running. But I'd still recommend this pair for anybody new to running! For context, I ran in these for my mid tier runs such as half marathons and random short runs, probably close to 200 miles since I've bought them.Cheapest I could find, I've always run in ASICS and these don't disappoint. Do your research on what shoe suits your gait etc. Main point of this review is as follows. I ordered from the UK, considering these where delivered from a US distributor, then I can't fault. They arrived before the estimated delivery date and would recommend both the shoe and the seller .This product is a disgrace -- Overly priced low quality rubbish. I only wore them for 3 short runs and there was considerable wear and tear with part if the sole having been worn flat already.Keep away from this poor quality product -- Asics have really let standards slip. Don't wast you money.strangely slightly bigger than the previous pair i bought that were a different colourExcellent runners! I thought my Gel-Kayano 26 is a top shoe, but the Nimbus 22 is noticeably better. I can't describe but there is something in the sole that makes the touch to the ground very pleasant.I purchased these running shoes 8 months ago, I have bee happy with them, however they have started to top/tear around the front in the same place on both sides. A little disappointing given the price and limited miles I have run in them.
