I generally do not spend what the price of this pair of running shoes is advertised at. BUT, I have a size 14 flat-foot and my ankles have my feet rolling inward. This was supposed to provide good support and be specific to the way my feet roll in. The minute I put them on and took a few steps, I was sold. They fit perfect. The support is very good. They are indeed comfortable. I wear steel-toed work boots at work which are heavy and tire my feet. These running shoes are a joy compared to them. I do a lot of walking as most of us do when going out to shop or to assorted events. These running shoes don't tire my feet out and I can get in a lot of walking. I will buy another pair when these wear out.I am not really that big (about 6 foot 220lbs) and have been using a certain other brand who touted their shoes for overpronators for over 12 years. I read the current reviews and decided based on those reviews to purchase a pair of Asics Gel Kayano 25 size 12 medium. I had used the original pair for about about a year until they started to wear out. The cushioning starting to thin out and holes where the big toenails come in contact. Now that I have a new pair.....wow. I have been walking on the old ones but now these are definitely the best support shoes in years. I am older now (65) and am attempting to get back into running after surgery (not running related). I feel great on the treadmill and will transition to the track shortly. Being a fairly large individual with flat feet these shoes are beautiful, not only to look at but NO PLANTAR FASCIITIS! I am in heaven. I believe that these shoes helped me heal after a severe bout of the above injury and they keep me running pain free. I have tried more than a few from other manufacturers and after running in one pair of a relatively cheaper shoe, I was in such excruciating pain that I could barely walk for a few days and suffered pain for months until I tried the Asics. I have been running since the late 60's and I wish that I had had these shoes back then. Great shoe, try it, you'll like it.These sneakers were purchased for my 10 year old son. With so many years spent trying different sneakers and never truly having success with anything I ever bought, I finally sat down one day to spend as long as necessary to identify a sneaker that would finally give him the arch support and overall comfort we’d yet to find. My son not only suffers from having a flat foot, but he is also limited to an extra-wide shoe. After several hours, this specific sneaker was the one that claimed to be the sneaker we had been waiting to find, but I still did not believe it was true despite my decision to place the order. For a 10 year old who is still growing I really didn’t enjoy spending so much, but after weeks of wear, I am SO grateful to finally see my son put his shoes on with NO pain and have not one complaint the entire time he has them on!! I want to be clear on the fact that I do not remember a time that happened, ever. So, if you are tired of pain, have wide, or extra-wide, feet while dealing with the pain of having little to no arch, BUY THESE SNEAKERS AND YOU WILL NO REGRET IT!! I researched a shoe that was built to offer great support to people with injuries. I am very happy with these shoes. I have put over 700 miles running or walking on them over the last two years and I have been very satisfied with them. I do think it is time to replace them this spring.I was not sure I would like buying running shoes online. However, I have had a pair of Asics previously and thought as long as I could find shoes for over pronators (my running style based on having flat feet) and a size 13 Wide, I might be okay. Well, one thing for sure is I can never find 13 Wide shoes at the store so, I settle on 13s (14s are too big) and loosen the laces. Fortunately, online Asics had 13 Wide shoes, so I bought them. However, Asics cancelled my initial order because they were not in stock. I thought I might give Asics another try and I found a pair that I liked more than the previous purchase and I received it in a timely manner. I love these shoes, they are comfortable, look good, and I cannot wait to get up in the morning and put them on to go running. I highly recommend these shoes for over pronators.The most comfortable shoes I wear. I use them for walking more then running, but I love them.Now I know why these shoes are so light-weight. They are quite thin. My large toes haven't rubbed through the top of the shoe yet, but I'm holding my breath. As with every other shoe brand on the massive shoe market, these shoes have no arch support. I had to remove the insole that came inside them and glue in my own inserts. It's madness. Every pair of shoes I have purchased in the last 15 years has had zero arch support. This means after paying the price for the shoes, I have to spend another $30 for shoe inserts. I know, I'm venting! This pair isn't any worse than any other pair I've worn. But, do all human beings have feet soles that are flat as Kansas? ALL the shoe companies seem to think so!Ok so I purchased men's trainers because I have flat feet.Tried women's and far too tight.My GP recommend ASICS because I have arthritis in my lower back and he said it would help lower the impact when I'm in my sports mode.I can honestly say he was correct.Even powerwalking used to aggravate my back but now with confidence I've built up to jogging then running without suffering the painPrevious purchases of trainers with hard soles and memory foam innersoles were not helping at all.What an amazing changeThey fitted perfectly and no signs of blisters or rubbing after wearing them either unlike other brands I've tried.Yes they are expensive but not really too bad when compared to 'fashionable' brands with little or no support.These are very lightweight extremely comfortable.First time in the washing machine today after 8 weeks of hard wear of outside training because gyms being closed during COVID19 pandemic and they've washed up fantasticHighly recommend and certainly would buy againI have for many years bought Asics kayano gel shoes for my husband through amazon, through this seller. This time round I'm sorry to report that he could feel the quality was very cheap feeling and not as usual. He questioned if I was absolutely sure this was from the genuine authentic seller. He is not happy but now we're stuck with them. It wouldn't be the first time I've been burned by poor manufacturing from a brand seller on Amazon. The other was buying ninjago PJs from LEGO on amazon. The quality was a joke. Sleeves were not even the same length. Anyway, another story.A real shame to see standards and quality control slipping Amazon.. it certainly affects my confidence to buy more valuable goods as I live in Sweden now and my parents usually bring over the stuff I've ordered from the UK so it's much harder to return. Please please up your quality control Amazon!! I wish to continue being a loyal customer!Probably the most I’ve spent on trainers. Never thought it mattered but these are brilliant. The support they give has taken the impact issues away from my knees. I alway buy ASICS because they are excellent well balanced shoes and these are the best I’ve had so far. Everything in the write up is accurate.Asics have changed the formula with the kayano 26. The toe area is more rounded and theres to much room above the toes. They feel cheap.Best trainers ever owned
