The shoe are of lightweight construction. I think they'll be good for walking but I don't believe they would last all that long as a running shoe. This being said with my 20 some years of running in Asics shoes. I believe they'll make good walking shoes but because of the very thin tread design I question the longevity. Sort of feels like they'll wear quickly especially in the heel areas. They are a good looking shoe and are comfortable with the exception of where my toes tend to press into the insole as I walk. They just don't feel like they have a lot of foot support in that area. Overall I don't really have anything against the shoes. Great value for moneyThese are a great running shoes and I use them for my fast 6 mile runs. Good support, fits like a glove it makes me speedy. That’s all that’s important here. The shoe breathes well, and is very comfortable. I wear them to work, and also have a pair for working out. I have run about 10 times in the so far and done some HIIT work and they are standing up well: no rubbing, nice support and comfortable.These feel really comfortable for short runs and everyday use. However they feel harder than previous models and I am having pains in my ankles and toes following longer runs. If you are looking to run over 10 miles I would pay extra and get the nimbus or an alternative.Now started jogging again, I have been using other trainers. First run back in Asics was totally different.A much better experience. less leg fatique and more miles. I am thinking of buying a spare pair.I bought these shoes to take up a bit of light running; they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. They look good too. So far they have twice transported me round the neighbouring streets and parks without any problems.Good for tennis, cardio and daily wear.
