Salomon has an excellent tread design making it stable on ice as well as dirt. I've been searching for another pair of speedcross for a couple months. It seems they aren't available...anywhere. Then I converted my adult womens shoe size into big kids. Amazon had 1 pair left at a fraction of the cost. Absolutely is in LOVE and so are we. The tread on these shoes are just amazing. The way they grip all the different kinds of terrain is phenomena. You can really tell the difference. He mentioned how his toes don’t hit the front when going down hill- big callout in my book.Child like it.Could be a bit more wide.thankfully this is 2nd pair so we knew to take this into slightly nippy fit into account. Would buy again but not if they become any more expensive.
