Description
ENGINEERED KNIT UPPER This knit material provides good comfort and support without the need for traditional overlays. It’s also lightweight and functional for keeping feet cool. FLYTEFOAM TECHNOLOGY The updated midsole design implements FLYTEFOAM Propel technology cushioning to provide an extra popping forward sensation at the toe-off stage. A gender-specific 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION unit under the heel and forefoot reduces the shoe's weight while helping the runner experience better cushioning and stability. A SUPPORTIVE STRIDE LITETRUSS technology is designed to improve midfoot integrity and support on the medial side of the shoe. It helps prevent the excessive inward roll of the foot at mid-stance and sets the runner up for an efficient toe-off. SURFACE Road HEEL DROP 8 mm WEIGHT 280 g/9.9 oz SUPPORT Neutral, Stability CUSHION Extra UNDERPRONATION IS How Your Foot Contacts The Ground: The outside of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with minimal pronation, causing shock to the lower leg. Push-Off: You experience pressure on your outer toes. Considered Injuries: Plantar fasciitis, shin splints, ankle strain. Foot Type: High arches. NEUTRAL FOOT TYPE IS How Your Foot Contacts The Ground: Your foot lands on the outside of the heel and then rolls inward, absorbing impact on the body. Push-Off: Your experience even distribution from the front of the foot. Considered Injuries: Getting hurt is less likely due to effective shock absorption, but not impossible. Foot Type: Normal-size arches. OVERPRONATION IS How Your Foot Contacts The Ground: Your foot lands on the outside of the heel and then rolls inward, transferring excess weight. Push-Off: Your experience pressure mainly on your big toe and second toe. Considered Injuries: Shin splints, plantar fasciitis, bunions, heel spurs. Foot Type: Low arches or flat feet.

Back in the day I did my runs on concrete sidewalks and neighborhood streets, and with each step I could feel some shock/impact to my right knee, and kinda on my back. I asked a running/marathon guru what is the best running shoe for reducing shock/impact, and he said ASICS with Gel in the soul for shock absorption. My ASICS immediately eliminated the shock to my knee and back. That was 7 years ago. Now, 7 years later, it was time for a new pair. These "ASICS 1000 generation 10" running shoes were priced super low cuz the generation 11's just came out. Early reviewers were saying the gen 11's are not as good as the gen 10's. So with these gen 10's priced at just 60 bucks (reg 120) I picked up 3 pairs in 3 colors. Love them! On the all black shoe, I replaced the 53" dark laces with vibrant blue laces and man these doggies look good.
