I just ordered and received by ASICS Men's Gel-Kinsei Blast running shoes. I feel compelled to share my first opinion. I have run every day in these shoes for about nine days now. The moment I put them on and took my first steps was kind of a "Wow" moment. The fit was perfect and the cushion in each step was amazing. It felt like marshmellows under the key stress points of each step. At first I thought it was the carpet, but then I hit the pavement and I was in heaven. I'm not sure if I just waited far too long to replace my previous ASICS or if these shoes are that much better, but I could not be happier. I have run 22 marathons, so I know the difference. The tongue is a thinner material so I worried it might cause a dig in the top of my foot because I lace up pretty tightly. Nope, perfectly comfortable. Better yet, the laces are actually perfect length for double knots. My last several pair had laces I had to over size the loops and double or triple tie to keep them from hitting the road. I plan to order a second pair now because this level of satisfaction for me does not happen very often.Love the shoes very confortable. Awesome shoesI injured a calf a couple weeks back and I think my running shoes were partially to blame, so I poked around for some new ones and came across these. I haven't taken them for a run yet, but I did wear them around for awhile, and these are the most comfortable out of the box shoes I ever put on. Even if I don't use them for running, they are still worth the high price tag as an every day walk around shoe. The fit is as expected (not as narrow as the gel nimbus). And as a 250lb runner, the cushioning feels amazing.Once I get some miles on them, I'll come back and update the review. The fast foam blast and energy transfer in this sneaker is great especially for training. These are excellent running shoes with great support all around. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the tongue isn't well padded, so the top edge of the tongue can dig into the lower part of the shin. I had to cut the upper tip of the tongue to keep it from digging into my skin. Without this one flaw, this would be a great running shoe. These are the best tennis shoes I have ever owned in my lifeOk let's start with the cost- I ve never paid this kind of money for shoes in my life @57y.o.......now with that being said, THESE ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES i ever put on my feet!I have an extremely bad back, but still try to jog some and these are like having pillows and shocks on my feet.....wow.....I ll gladly pay the money again & again! As to fit, perfect sizing. The size I always wear in ASICS & Nike 10.5 perfect.....I m glad I pulled the trigger on these high end shoes!Alright. I used to be a runner. These days I am overweight at 265lbs at 6’3’’. I have bad planter fasciitis and my left heel pretty much hurts all the time. Up until 8 months ago I wore a named brand shoe that a lot of people wear. My wife convinced me to go to a good shoe store. I tried several, several shoes. The shoe that ended up being the best for me are the Asics Gel Nimbus 23’s. I saw these kinsei-blast advertised as max cushion and I really liked the looks of them so I ordered them. They just showed up today and as soon as I put them on I had that fits like a glove and feels like the shoe matches my stride feeling. I work in the medical field and walk about 5 miles a day. I will wear them tomorrow and see how my feet feel. If they don’t feel amazing I will respond to this post. Also to note. If it wasn’t for my left heel hurting so bad there could be other shoes that would probably feel good too. Also, Everyone’s feet are different and one persons worst shoe could be another persons favorite. I am a hard outer heel striker that under pronates on the outside of my foot coming into the center of the forefoot. I don’t have a wide foot but I do have high arches and more of a thicker foot. I typically don’t lace my shoes very tight and they still fit snug. Luckily we live in a world with plenty of options. Also, Until 8 months ago I was convinced I wore a size 12. I actually wear a size 14 and I have a feeling that too many people wear a smaller size shoe than they should.
